While the Tourism Summit officially begins at 3:00pm on Wednesday, March 25th and concludes around 4:30pm on Thursday, March 26th, we are proud to offer some additional experiences to further develop your networking opportunities.
Below are some unique experiences to truly immerse in the hospitality, history, natural history and wonder of the Peninsula.

Port Angeles Fine Arts Center Gallery & Sculpture Park Tour
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Art, Architecture & Nature- all three at this hidden gem!
You are invited to a special behind the scenes look at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Step back in time as you explore the history of the mid-century modern residence of Esther and Charles Webster that now serves as a fine art gallery. Get a staff introduction to the contemplative current exhibition, Eternal Echoes and peruse our curated gift shop for local art before stepping out for a guided tour of Webster’s Woods- a charming 5-acre sculpture park nestled amongst PNW forest.
Instructions: Meet at the gallery building to begin. Suggested clothing- casual clothes with layers to adjust to weather as needed. Solid walking/hiking shoes suggested. The sculpture park portion of the tour will take place outdoors and on our hiking path. Path is crushed gravel, approximately 0.5 miles in length with a 10-12% incline at the steepest spots. Elwha Klallam Museum Private Visit
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
The Elwha Klallam Museum is located in the old Carnegie Library. Learn about the tribe’s deep roots in this area of the Olympic Peninsula. The famous tribal exhibits on display include č̕ixʷícən Village (tse-whit-zen) where two-thousand-year-old artifacts were recovered from the ancient village site near Ediz Hook in Port Angeles. The epic Elwha River dam removal project was the largest in US history. It is also documented in an exhibit curated by the Burke Museum of Seattle. Learn why it was necessary and the steps taken to foster ecological growth in the area.

Note: The museum is an 8-10 minute walk from the Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles Harbor.

Day Trip to Victoria, BC
Set sail for Victoria, BC with Black Ball Ferry Line on a cross-border experience featuring a Hop-on, Hop-off city tour, dedicated time to connect with tourism partners in Victoria, and free time to explore the city at your own pace before returning to Port Angeles.
Itinerary
7:50am: Arrive at the Black Ball Port Angeles terminal.
8:20am: Depart Port Angeles.
9:50am: Arrive in Victoria and go through Canada Customs.
10:30am - 12:00pm: Experience Sightseeing Victoria's Hop-on, Hop-off City Bus Tour departing from in front of the Fairmont Empress Hotel (a short walk from Black Ball's terminal).
12:15pm - 1:45pm: An opportunity to network with Victoria partners at a joint Victoria-Port Angeles Mixer hosted at the Black Ball Ferry Line terminal. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
2:00pm - 3:30pm: Free time to explore Victoria at your leisure.
3:30pm: Arrive at Victoria terminal and go through US Customs.
4:00pm: Depart Victoria.
5:30pm: Arrive in Port Angeles.
